The last couple of years the OFFF festival has been presenting the best upcoming names in the post-digital culture, although their brand has evolved to something more than just a festival. “OFFF is a way of understanding art” is how they say it. Long have we waited, but it is finally here! The new stop-motion animation The Maker by Australian filmmakers and husband and wife duo Christopher and Christine Kezelos. We were already in love with their previous short film Zero that has won a bunch of awards at film festivals worldwide. But by now The Maker has already followed in its footsteps by winning, amongst others, the awards for ‘Best Animation’ at the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival and ‘Best Animation’ at Sydney Film Festival.
