One of our supporting films from Go Short 2017 is finally online. A historic handshake was part of our project “De voorfilm moet terug”.

Washington – September 13, 1993. History is being made! Except for one last wrinkle to iron out…

Short background information: The Oslo Accords, an attempt in 1993 that would lead to the resolution of the ongoing Israeli–Palestinian conflict, were subsequently officially signed at a public ceremony in Washington, D.C., on 13 September 1993, in the presence of PLO chairman Yasser Arafat, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and U.S. President Bill Clinton. It was the first face-to-face agreement between the government of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

Written and directed by Aurélien Laplace. Let’s have a look at his hilarious 3 minutes short film.
