Every year we’re blown away by a number of student films which are shown at most of the big festivals. This year isn’t any different. One of these films is I’m Fine Thanks by Eamonn O’Neill. He just graduated from the Royal College of Art and he is already signed to Studio AKA (who produced last years’ Oscar nominee A Morning Stroll). But I’m Fine Thanks isn’t even his graduation film. In the short we follow a boy growing up and slowly breaking down when he gets a message from an girl he once knew. O’Neill uses a really fresh animation style, which gives the short something special and unique.
