The grandparents of Emma just can’t understand why their granddaughter keeps playing games on her iPad. She loves the game Pony Place, where she is in charge of a virtual farm with all kinds of ponies. When Emma leaves for the holidays, her parents won’t allow her to take her iPad along, so she kindly asks her grandmother if she could take care of her digital pony-farm. Just a few moments before she leaves, she is finally able to afford the pony she was saving for all this time. Emma gives her grandmother the hard task to keep the ponies alive.
Joost Reijmers shows the differences between generations in this hilarious short film. An interesting view of our changing society. Pony Place premiered during Nederlands Film Festival last September.
