In today’s Short Shot, the country in focus at Go Short 2018: Ireland. That’s why it seems reasonable to show you a film from this country with the green, white and orange flag.

A man’s life, loves and losses are shown through the exchanges he has with the passengers in his car. Julien Regnard wrote and directed the short film funded by the Irish Film Board. Somewhere down the Line was internationally screened and awarded throughout the festivals such as the Irish Film and Television Awards and Clermont Ferrand Film Festival.

Julien Regnard is a film director, storyboard, layout and background artist for animation. He graduated with an MA in La Cambre Art School in 2011. He worked for five years with Cartoon Saloon Studio in Ireland where he had the opportunity to be part of projects including Oscar nominated Song of the Sea and The Breadwinner.
