10 years, 2 weeks! We are getting closer and closer to our festival. Every year at Go Short we have aside from a filmmaker in focus, one or multiple countries in focus as well. Last year our country in focus was Spain and one of these Spanish programmed films called Duck Crossing (2010) is this week’s focus. A documentary or should I say mockumentary about one type of actor in the movies that is often overlooked, the duck!

Tech City – Superelectric

Superelectric made a music video for Kid Sundance’s song ‘Tech City’ and like most videos made through the TAX-videoclipfonds, came up with something you wouldn’t expect from a music video. A fake-documentary in which scientists extract objects and colours from sounds and rhythms. Read more…

Exorsister – Tom Titulaer

We are starting off with a look over our shoulders back to the 48 Hour Film Project that took place during the fourth edition of Go Short. The first two weeks we will be screening the audience favorites from the 27 films that were made this year. First up: Exorsister by team ThinkFish Media. With the genre “horror” they came up with this mockumentary about an exorcist, and the support he gets from his sister. Because that’s what family is for! Besides the Audience Award, they won four other awards including the award for best film.
